Two female executives of Transfesa Logistics have taken part in the campaign “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” at the Madrid Stock Exchange. This is an initiative organized by the Spanish Network of the Global Compact and the BME.
Isabel Núñez, Environment Manager and Julia García Navarro, Director of Legal Advice and Risks, member of the Executive Committee and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Transfesa Logistics, participated in the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” at the Madrid Stock Exchange. It is an initiative organized by the Spanish Network of the Global Compact and BME (Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets) on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The initiative is part of the international movement Ring the Bell for Gender Equality. This year it gets to its fifth edition and takes place in more than 65 branches of the stock exchange around the world. According to the organization, the objective is: “to send a message in favor of gender equality, which is fundamental to boost the global economy, where the private sector has to play a key role”.
Transfesa Logistics, as a Signatory Partner of the Worldwide Pact, fulfills the 10 principles of sustainable development of this initiative. In addition, it contributes actively in the achievement of the fifth of the UN “Sustainable Development Goals”, relative to gender equality.
The presence at events, such as the one organized at the Madrid Stock Exchange reflects its commitment to talent and diversity.
