The company participates in the Gender equality accelerator programme of the United Nations “Target Gender Equality” to reinforce the presence of women in sectors such as transportation and logistics. Although there is already a wide representation in the company’s middle management, Transfesa Logistics joins this new initiative to contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and especially SDG5.
Transfesa Logistics reinforces its actions to promote gender equality in the transport and logistics sector, traditionally male. The company, which has a wide representation of women in all middle management, goes one step further joining the “Target Gender Equality” campaign of the United Nations’ Global Compact.

Transfesa Logistics’ objective is to improve female presence within the organisation at all levels, thus achieving a way to further decrease the gender gap in the company and increase the equality of opportunity. With this new initiative’s support, it wants to contribute, in turn, to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and especially its SDG5 on Gender Equality, since The company is a founding partner of the Global Compact in Spain.

Target Gender Equality programme  

The United Nations’ accelerator programme for Gender Equality (Target Gender Equality) has been created to support companies of the Global Compact at the global level to establish and meet ambitious objectives to increase representation and leadership of women in companies at all levels and in all sectors.
