As a signatory to the Diversity Charter, the company is committed to promoting a socially respectful, economically sustainable and legally rigorous environment, within the framework of the European Diversity Month.

Transfesa Logistics has joined the Diversity Charter, a European charter of principles that companies and organizations sign on a voluntary basis to make visible their commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This adhesion responds to one of the strategic pillars of Transfesa Logistics, the defence of equality, and is aligned with its work towards achieving the 2030 Agenda. The Charter already has more than 1,000 signatory companies in Spain and more than 12,000 in the entire European Union.

10 principles on inclusion and diversity

As a signatory company, the company will continue its work on equality and anti-discrimination. In addition to this, it will carry out all the activities within its reach to put into practice the 10 principles on inclusion and diversity of the Diversity Charter, among which are continuing to build a diverse workforce, promoting inclusion and conciliation, recognizing clients´ diversity and helping in its diffusion as much as possible.

In line with its current CSR policy and the values of the Charter it joined, Transfesa Logistics defends an inclusive business culture that recognizes the diversity of its staff and customers. Likewise, it promotes policies for work-life balance and works to increase awareness in all the environments in which it carries out its activity.

This adhesion also expresses its willingness to widely communicate the commitment that the organization has acquired and share it not only within the company, but also with all customers, suppliers, business organizations and social agents with whom it interacts. To this end, the activities to support non-discrimination, as well as the results obtained from the implementation of the diversity policies, will be reflected in the company’s annual report.

According to the Human Resources director at Transfesa Logistics, Carlos Saldaña, “diversity and equality are in the company’s DNA and in all the decisions we make. We always prioritize people since human capital, our employees and clients, are the organization’s most valuable resource, the basis of our business and social progress ”.

The adhesion signature coincides with the celebration of the “European Diversity Month”, a date that Transfesa Logistics wants to commemorate with express support for the defense of a fair, plural and inclusive society.
