Transfesa Logistics, a company of the DB Cargo group, is carrying out a recruitment process to work in the German company DB Cargo. We are looking for a profile that wants to work in Germany as shunters staff, it is not necessary to have previous experience, only that you have a good level of German.

Your role will be to perform railway shunting in Germany, performing tasks such as working with the trains inside the shunting yard, checking the safety of the loading of the wagons or loading and unloading of trains.

The job offer has a twofold purpose. On the one hand, we are looking for people with a B2 level of German to take up the position in Germany in June, July, August and September. Depending on the month of incorporation, the destinations will be different: in June, the locations are Nürenberg, Seddin and Mannheim. For the other months, there is some flexibility in the locations, also taking into account the preferences of the candidates.

On the other hand, we are looking for people with a B1 level of German to join a free training program before traveling to Germany. In this case, there are two phases in the selection process.

The first training phase will start on June 7 and will last until July 30. It will consist of a 5-hour online course from Monday to Friday, in addition to the self-study that is supposed to be necessary to pass the final exam that will allow passing the second phase of the on-site training in Madrid, from August 16 to October 7. To complete this phase, you will have to pass the telc Deutsch B2 exam that certifies your good level of German. Once you have passed the two stages of the training program, you will have a few weeks free to organize and plan your move to Germany. There, the work training and the employment contract will start in November. In this case, the destinations are still to be defined, but DB Cargo’s goal is to have one location in southern Germany and one in northern Germany.
