– Iberian Lawyer recognizes, for the sixth consecutive year, the work of women in the legal profession in Spain and Portugal.
– The main media dedicated to the legal sector in the Iberian Peninsula has included the secretary of the Board of Directors of Transfesa Logistics in its TOP 50.
– This is also a recognition for the company, which is working to become a benchmark in the logistics and transport sector in terms of diversity.
For the sixth consecutive year, Iberian Lawyer has presented the most inspiring women in the Spanish and Portuguese legal market. In this new edition, Julia A. García Navarro, Head of Legal, Insurance & Risk and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Tranfesa Logistics, has become part of the TOP50 prepared by the specialized media in the legal sector.
The recognition has taken place within the framework of Inspiralaw, an initiative promoted by Iberian Legal Group that aims to identify the 50 best women in the legal field, both in private practice and in-house.
“Narrowing the list down to just 50 has been one of the most difficult tasks for our editorial team, as we have received hundreds of nominations,” they explain from Iberian Lawyer. In this line, the 2022 edition has recognized García Navarro for his ability to practice the profession with leadership, becoming “an inspiration to all”.
“We have never been prouder of our selection, but in our eyes, all the women who were nominated are winners,” clarifies the editorial group.
Regarding her recognition, Julia A. García Navarro has stated that “being identified by Iberian Lawyer, as one of the 50 most inspiring women in the legal sector, is a great satisfaction. I want to emphasize that this recognition corresponds above all to Transfesa Logistics, the company that bet on me, as a female and senior talent, when I had already turned 50. While most companies discard the “less young”, Transfesa demonstrated its commitment to age diversity, as important to me as gender equality.
I am proud to work for the Transfesa Logistics Group. We are leaders in diversity and, among other things, we have an executive committee and a management level that is close to parity.”
The award gala was held at the Wellington Hotel in Madrid, which brought together leading Spanish and Portuguese law firms.
