Corporate Crime Prevention
The latest amendment of the Spanish Criminal Code deals with the corporate crime liability and includes the need to implement a crime prevention model for specific offences. The aim of the model is to structure a prevention`s system against possible criminal conduct, which will improve existing controls and allow the implementation of new surveillance and control measures.
Accordingly, Transfesa’s Code of Conduct comprehends respect for internal principles, values and guidelines, as well as its commitment to compliance with regulations has introduced a model and published the Corporate Crime Prevention Policy, which is applicable to all company employees and third parties associated to the company. This policy sets out Transfesa’s Code of Conduct comprehends respect for internal principles, values and guidelines, as well as its commitment to compliance with regulations’s commitment to compliance with the law, and makes a brief statement of the closed list of crimes for which a company may be criminally liable in Spain.
