Since the year 2000, Transfesa has introduced the current Environmental Management System that encompasses every activity of the Company and all its offices and installations in Spain and outside. During these years, the experience gained by Transfesa in environmental protection, aligned with the European trends and international best practices, has evolved into an essential element of the company´s daily activity.
The Code of Environmental Conduct implemented by the company, has enabled the application of an Environmental Policy in accordance with the criteria of the European Environment Program "Towards a Sustainable Developmen". New measures are being continuously incorporated intothis Policy, which allows us to meet the most stringent objectives of the European and national environmental policy.
The commitment of the Transfesa Group to exercise at all times a good ecological practice and to carry out every work process with the maximum Security and Respect for the Environment, leads us to continuously improve our Environment Management System (supported by the ISO 14001 Environmental Certification that was awarded to Transfesa in May, 2001, and is renewed year after year).
